Oddly enough, though, for almost the opposite reason: no one will call out Billy Beane for the embarassment of an offense we've run out there all season. Jeff Larish and Jeremy Hermedia are in the OF for us tonight. Conor Jackson was our big in-season "get". An entire season of wasted pitching in front of a punchless, uninteresting lineup. The aftertaste completely put me off this product. I would go a step further and say that the sweetness actually is too cloying. I couldn't finish the first bottle and, for the first time that I can think of, poured the remainder of the six-pack down the drain. Perhaps I just had a bad batch, it was on sale.
