		<description>Totally right. There might be a connection between baseball and racism...but not here in New York. Hell no! Fans here dont care what you are. It's not even about being black or white. Matter of fact, the Mets team is made up of mostly hispanics. As for Willie...well, he's no longer the manager....something you sort of predicted, in a way.

Almost lost my coffee over that one.  Nice.  

I don't think the 'turn-on-your-team' thing is specific to NY fans, tho.  If anything, I'd say PA fans are more quick to turn on their players.  But that could have changed with the new park, I don't know.  But I agree with your point completely--claiming that NYC wants you out b/c you're a certain color over another smacks of idiocy.</description>
